“The Hotel Indigo – Asheville Downtown has been working with Scott Finney and Five Step Carpet Care since opening in 2009.

Before choosing a carpet cleaning contractor for our hotel we asked Scott and his competitors to interview and demonstrate their cleaning system. Five Step was an easy choice for a number of reasons. The primary one being Scott’s attitude and his crews commitment to service and quality. The process used is another reason. IHG and Hotel Indigo are participants in the Green Engage Initiate. We work closely with all our contractors/suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint and require the use of environmentally friendly products. Five Step meets our program standards – cleaning with all “Green Seal” products and their system uses substantially less water than extraction cleaning.

We also use Five Step for cleaning our upholstery and drapes. Having one contractor for all our guest room and public area cleaning is essential to achieving our goals. It saves me time and I don’t have to worry about something getting missed. Scott takes care of the schedule and keeps track of our progress throughout the season. He and his crew work in perfect harmony with the maintenance and housekeeping staff which is also essential to our overall success.
